Photos from Rajasthan, Indian

A colourful journey through the land of the kings

Rajasthan is one of the most beautiful and largest states in India. From the moment you arrive in Rajasthan, and indeed anywhere in India, your are confronted with a sensory overload. Layers of complex sounds, wafts of strong distinct smells (not all good) and most importantly (from a ohotography point of view at least) an array of gorgeous vibrant colours that change and develop as the light changes. I enjoyed trying to capture the colourful fabrics, the rich textures of the buildings and the amazing smiles of the extremely friendly locals.
